La Catrina(Calavera Skull)  is the Mexican representation of the dead. The  skull is one of the oldest and most powerful of the symbols. It has been used to symbolize both side of the spectrum and therefore have diverse meanings. For some it represent death protection,strength,power, fearlessness, wisdom and guidance.
